I started as a volunteer driver after returning to the UK when I turned 60. My husband was home all of the time and I needed to find something useful to do that would get me out of the house a few days a week. ![]()

When I began I did 3/4 days a week, I now, 14 years later, do one day with BACT and one day with voluntary Norfolk/HTG patient transport.![]()
Simply, I love driving, I love meeting people, it's a great way to combine the two.![]()

Out and about today talking to some of our amazing volunteers about why they volunteer. James our camera operator captured so many stories from volunteers, staff and passengers as to why our service makes such a difference to people.
